Announcing 2023 Head of Campus and Senior School Coordinators

As we approach 2023, we are delighted to share with you the Preshil teachers and staff that will be involved in coordinating the Senior School next year!

We are happy to share with you that Karoline Kuti, who has been serving as Acting Head of Campus at BK, will continue next year as Head of Campus. We have all enjoyed working with Karoline these past months and look forward to continued collaboration with her. While most of you probably know Karoline because she has been a long-time member of the Preshil community, we wanted to share with you some of Karoline’s background as an educator.

Karoline joined the Preshil community in 2003 as both a parent and Cello Teacher. Since this time she has taught in both the Primary and Secondary classrooms, has been involved in the implementation of both the Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP), developed the Musical Scope and Sequence from the Kindergarten to Year 12, and contributed to the successful MYP Evaluation Process in 2021. Karoline has been Head of Music for the past 8 years, CAS Coordinator for 3 years, IB Diploma Examiner in Music for 3 years, Acting DP Coordinator for 6 months and Acting Head of Senior School for 1 year. With 29 years of experience within education, having worked in 15 schools and having spent more than 18 years in the Preshil environment, Karoline brings a wealth of experience, knowledge of both Preshil and the IB and passion for the School community.
 
We thank Emma Zipper, Council Chair, and Professor Graham Parr, Chair of the Council’s Education Committee, for their participation on the Selection Committee.
