Amongst the outstanding results of our 2022 cohort, three of our graduates received Certificates of Distinction, presented to those students awarded an IB score of 40 or more.

The achievements of Acorn Holmes à Court, Leila Edelstein and Mila Goren-Chirico were recognised at an awards ceremony at The Edge in Federation Square.

At the ceremony, guest speaker Jemima Montag – Tokyo 2020 Olympian and IB graduate – spoke of her appreciation for her IB education which fostered her to pursue her lifelong learning and service to her community.

Jemima has not just seen success on the sporting field but is a medical student and founder of “GirlsPlayOn”, an organisation that aims to remove barriers to female-identifying young people engaging in sports.

She reflected that it was the IB’s inquiry learning model, along with her knowledgeable and inspirational teachers, which inspired her drive and passion for her self led research and pursuits in the years following her graduation from school.

Congratulations again to Acorn, Leila, Mila and the class of 2022 on their results! We are very much looking forward to hearing about their future successes.
