Preshil is a small, secular and progressive co-educational school for ages 3 and 4 through to Year 12. The students take an active role in their education and develop responsibility for their actions and ultimately their futures. Preshil is about “fitting the School to the child”, allowing them to find their voice and explore their own passions. Preshil is an authorised International Baccalaureate World School with a Diploma Programme (DP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Primary Years Programme (PYP). We use a restorative approach to discipline and are always searching for outstanding teachers with high levels of leadership experience and capacity.

Inclusive Education Learning Assistant (Secondary) – Full-time or Part-time

Preshil is looking for applications from a suitably qualified, enthusiastic and experienced Inclusive Education Learning Assistant for our Secondary Campus. Learning Assistants work under the supportive direction of the Inclusive Education Coordinator and the School Inclusive Education Leader. The Learning Assistant will work with students and staff across all senior and middle year levels with an emphasis on supporting the diverse learning needs of students. They will work closely with the Inclusive Education Coordinator and with classroom teachers in implementing appropriate and relevant individual education programs and plans. The responsibilities of the position are to be performed in accordance with the provisions of the school’s EA and relevant policies.
