The Epilepsy Foundation writes:

We wish to extend a big thank you to Preshil for their tremendous efforts during Make March Purple. Today, at a senior assembly, the school presented us with a check for $1,119 in funds raised for people living with epilepsy.

Across both the junior and senior campuses, students raised funds and awareness by selling purple merchandise at a family picnic and hosting various activities, including a bake sale, guess the lolly jar, trivia, temporary tattoos, and their purple parade. Additionally, students provided information to the community through puppet presentations and poster statements.

All of this was led by a committee of passionate students, two of whom have experienced the condition since childhood. The committee confidently shared their insights with the rest of the school, contributing to a greater understanding of epilepsy as a condition needing more attention and support. Pictured are members of the committee – Avery, Iris, Kiran and Archie with Head of Fundraising, Katrina.
Well done to all involved, and thank you for making March purple!
