Lofties Recycling Craft Session

In honour of Sustainability Week, our Arlington Lofties students conducted a craft session focused on reusing and recycling!

As part of recycling week, and Preshil’s wider recognition of the importance of recycling and reuse, parents on the Sustainable Campus Committee have been collecting used paper from the Lofties classroom over the past month.

In doing this, 2kg of paper was saved from being thrown out and given a new life in a wonderful remake craft session this week.

The children participated with great energy and creativity, inventing and making cards, puppets, costumes and artworks. A post was also created for our upcoming Family Book Fair!

They were also able to pause to reconsider whether their paper, and other products, could be given a second (third, fourth!) life before being discarded.
