Preshil is a small, secular and progressive co-educational school for ages 3 and 4 through to Year 12. The students take an active role in their education and develop responsibility for their actions and ultimately their futures. Preshil is about “fitting the school to the child”, allowing them to find their voice and explore their own passions. Preshil is an authorized International Baccalaureate World School with a Diploma Programme (DP), Middle Years Programme (MYP) and Primary Years Programme (PYP).  The school uses a restorative approach to discipline and is looking for outstanding teachers with high levels of leadership experience and capacity. Learning Assistant (Inclusive Education)

Arlington Campus (Kindergarten and Primary School) 

Preshil is seeking applications from experienced enthusiastic and suitably qualified Learning Assistants to support children with learning difficulties and or children requiring learning enhancement in the classroom. The Learning Assistant (Primary) reports to the Inclusive Education Leader.  

The Learning Assistant will work closely with the Inclusive Education Coordinator and with classroom teachers in implementing appropriate and relevant individual education programs and plans.

This is a 0.86 FTE role with a fixed term contract until Dec 2022 with the likelihood of ongoing employment depending on the NCCD count. Hours of work are from 8.30pm – 3.30pm or by negotiation with the Inclusive Education Leader.  Successful applicants must have a current Working with Children Check.

Inclusive Education (Learning Support) Coordinator

Arlington (Kindergarten and Primary School) Campus

Preshil is seeking applications from experienced enthusiastic and suitably qualified Teachers to assist the Inclusive Education Leader in the Primary School.

The Inclusive Education Coordinator (Primary) reports to the Inclusive Education Leader and will provide ongoing development and support for classroom teachers in the management of students requiring learning support and or enhancement through the oversight and management of Individual Education Plans.

 

This is a 0.6 role with hours and days of work to be negotiated with the Preshil Inclusive Education Leader.

IB DP, IB MYP & CRT Educators

We acknowledge the valuable role that teachers play in the lives of students and we are seeking vibrant, passionate and experienced IBDP and MYP Educators to  join our CRT team to create outstanding, supported programs for every student.
