Spring Dinner is held annually prior to the September term break. One of the most popular events on our calendar (and selling out every year!), we are sure everyone agrees the night is a joyous celebration of our wonderful Preshil spirit.
The evening provides a showcase for all the elements that make Preshil such an exciting place to be. Rising out of the Electives Program – which gives students so many opportunities for real life learning in cross-age groupings – the evening draws its front-of-house, cooks, kitchen hands and entertainers from Years 7 to 10 into teams where they collaborate, create and support one another to bring this phenomenal evening together. Together, as a group, they meticulously plan prepare for the evening to ensure the service of all courses is seamless. We are all very proud of their achievements.
Set around a Silent Auction, the dinner is a very successful fundraising event and it is heartening to know that so many members of our community are keen to support the School so generously.
With 120 guests plus a dedicated team of cooks, wait staff and performers who bring together a wonderful evening of brilliant food, attentive service and great entertainment, our beautiful library is turned into a dining room by Nerel Ezra and her team of parents and staff, whilst the amazing John Collins designs and tests our exciting menu with the Kitchen Garden students.
