Preshil recently welcomed new members of our community for our New Staff Induction Day. It was a lovely occasion that brought together our new staff and current teachers, leaders and professional staff to kick off the new school year.
The day began with a warm welcome from our Principal, who spoke about his vision for the school and his excitement for the upcoming year. This was followed by a tour of both campuses of the school, which gave our new staff an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the facilities and learn about the different programs offered at Preshil.
The day also included a range of professional development sessions, covering topics such as classroom management, curriculum planning, and technology integration. These sessions provided our new staff with practical skills and strategies to use in the classroom and helped them to feel more prepared and confident as they began their teaching journey at Preshil. It was also a valuable opportunity to learn more about the school culture and the support systems in place to help them succeed.
One of the highlights of the day was a shared lunch at our Blackhall Kalimna Campus. Throughout the day, there was a strong sense of community and collaboration. The new staff felt welcomed and supported by their colleagues and were excited to be a part of the Preshil family. The students also played their part in making the day special, with their enthusiasm and energy adding to the overall positive atmosphere.
Without question, the New Staff Induction Day at Preshil was a lovely occasion that helped to bring our new staff members into our community and set them up for success. We look forward to working together to create a positive and enriching learning environment for our students.
