Getting to Preshil

Preshil attracts families from across Melbourne and we look forward to seeing you on campus.

Our two campuses, Arlington and Blackhall, are both in Kew. Whether you'd rather reach us via school bus, tram or car, this page brings together what you need to plan the journey: details of our home-to-school bus service and a guide for each suburb with directions, public transport options and parking.

School bus service

Preshil has partnered with StudentRide to run a school bus service, with morning and afternoon trips to and from school. Families can view routes, stops and timetables, find their nearest stop with the postcode checker, and book and track trips through the StudentRide parent portal and app. Fares, cut-off times and answers to common questions are all on the StudentRide page.

Directions by suburb

Every suburb has its own way of getting to Kew. For each suburb listed below, we've put together a short guide with the approximate drive time and route, the nearest tram, train and bus connections, and a note on cycling where it's a realistic option. Some suburbs have a tram that runs straight to Kew, and others pair a nearby station with a short tram or bus ride.

Parking is the same whichever way you travel. For Arlington, park on Kildare Street, off Barkers Road, opposite the campus. For Blackhall, parking is available on the streets surrounding the campus.
