This program offers a vocational pathway designed to connect learning with the real world of work.

It supports students who want to develop practical, industry-relevant skills while continuing their secondary education, alongside the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE), the VCE Vocational Major (VCE VM) or the Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC).

Rather than separating academic learning from vocational experience, this pathway brings the two together. Students gain hands-on workplace skills within a specific industry, building confidence, capability and a clearer sense of direction for what comes next.

Students are supported by educators to balance vocational training with their broader studies, ensuring their program reflects both their interests and their future goals.

As part of this offering, Preshil delivers a Certificate II in Creative Industries, facilitated through COSAMP. This qualification allows students to explore creative practice in a structured, industry-informed context developing practical skills, collaborative ways of working and an understanding of creative industries as viable career pathways. Pictured is alum and renowned photographer and artist, Polly Borland, attending a VET class as guest speaker. Polly shared her career journey and creative practice in an inspiring talk.

The program values doing as much as knowing. Young people leave with recognised qualifications, real-world experience and the confidence to step into further training, employment or continued study on their own terms.
