Preshil is a proudly independent, co-educational school for children from
Kindergarten to Year 12.
Founded in 1931 by Margaret Lyttle, Preshil was built on the belief that education should grow the individual—not mould them. That belief still guides everything we do today.
We don’t believe in one-size-fits-all learning.
We take the time to really know each student, to understand their interests, challenges and potential. With strong relationships at the centre, we support every young person to shape their own learning and grow into a confident, capable and thoughtful version of themselves. Whether a child joins us in Kindergarten or Year 10, we take the time to know them—so we can support them to thrive.

Free from rigid curriculum structures and standardised testing pressures, we can deliver what many other schools can only promise: a truly student-led education that balances trust, rigour and creativity.
