Welcome to another exciting week at Preshil.

We hope you enjoy reading about activities across our Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary campuses.

Book Week 2026 at Blackhall

This week Blackhall has been celebrating the 81st anniversary of Book Week!

The importance of books, words and creativity were front of mind with students and staff alike arriving in both captivating and kooky outfits on the annual Dress Up Day. Run in conjunction with Arlington's own dress up and mighty Anthology sessions, smiles and compliments were abound. We truly are all a  'Symphony of Stories'.

This Book Week also included visits from local author/illustrator, Bernard Caleo - now officially a Dr. of Comics. Bernard worked with year nine English students on their Persepolis study analysis and also presented an illustrative graphic novel workshop for students keen on such endeavours. Preshil has many talented illustrators and Bernard's passion and knowledge of this medium was both captivating and insightful.

A shout out should also go to students who attempted the Tongue Twister Challenge - no prizes just plain fun!

A big thank you to all who took part in this week's Book Week.
